1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the CVChecker service, available at cvchecker.io. By accessing the service, the user unconditionally accepts these Terms.

2. Service description

CVChecker is an online CV analysis and optimization service powered by artificial intelligence. It offers:

• ATS Analysis — compatibility score out of 100, recommendations, missing keywords (1 credit)
• Optimized CV — full AI rewrite of your CV, professional PDF export (2 credits)

3. Account creation

Access to paid features requires creating an account. The user agrees to provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of their credentials.

CVChecker reserves the right to suspend or delete any account in cases of fraudulent, abusive or Terms-violating use.

4. Credit system

The service operates on a credit system. One free credit is granted upon registration. Additional credits may be purchased within the service interface.

Credits are personal, non-transferable and have no expiry date.

5. Acceptable use

The user agrees not to:

• Use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to bypass the credit system or security mechanisms
• Submit unlawful, defamatory or third-party-harming content
• Automate requests to the service without prior written authorization from CVChecker
• Reproduce or resell generated results for commercial purposes without written agreement

6. User content

The user retains ownership of all submitted data (CV, job posting). By using the service, the user grants CVChecker a limited, non-exclusive, temporary license to process this data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

CV content is never used to train AI models or shared with third parties.

7. Limitation of liability

Results provided by CVChecker (scores, recommendations, optimized CV) are generated automatically by AI and provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute a guarantee of employment or improved application outcomes.

CVChecker shall not be held liable for any decision made by the user based on the results, or for any direct or indirect consequences thereof.

8. Service availability

CVChecker strives to ensure 24/7 service availability. However, interruptions for maintenance, updates or technical incidents may occur. CVChecker shall not be held liable for temporary unavailability.

9. Amendments to these Terms

CVChecker reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified by email of any material changes. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing law — ToS

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.

These General Terms of Sale govern all commercial transactions on CVChecker. Any credit purchase implies unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

2. Pricing

Prices are stated in euros, inclusive of all taxes. CVChecker reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Applicable prices are those in effect at the time of the order.

Current pricing is available on cvchecker.io. The credit cost of each tool is indicated in the interface before each use.

3. Order and payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, a secure payment services provider. CVChecker does not store any banking data.

Orders are confirmed upon receipt of payment. Credits are credited to the user's account instantly after payment validation.

4. Nature of services

CVChecker credits provide access to digital services delivered immediately. By making a purchase, the user expressly acknowledges that the service is provided immediately and waives their right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.

5. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with applicable consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content whose execution has begun with the consumer's prior express consent. By using credits to launch an analysis, the user expressly waives their right of withdrawal for those consumed credits.

6. No refunds

Credit purchases are final and non-refundable. Credits cannot be resold, exchanged or converted to cash. In the event of a proven technical error by CVChecker resulting in unjustified credit consumption, CVChecker reserves the right to restore the affected credits at its sole discretion, after verification.

7. Invoices

A payment confirmation is sent by email after each purchase. For invoice requests, contact contact@cvchecker.io.

8. Disputes and mediation

In the event of a dispute, the user is invited to first contact CVChecker at contact@cvchecker.io to seek an amicable resolution.

If no amicable resolution is reached, the dispute falls under the jurisdiction of French courts.

9. Governing law — GTS

These General Terms of Sale are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.
